I am a passionate follower of the Beautiful Game and a lifelong, long-suffering supporter of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, currently playing in the EFL Championship. In Italy's Serie A, I support AS Roma. I'm similarly cursed when it comes to North American sports, as a fan of the Chicago Bears, Toronto Raptors, and Toronto Maple Leafs.

I am a lover and performer of prewar and electric blues, alternative Americana and global roots music. In Toronto, I play guitar in the indie folk/alt-country band Chapel of Ease and perform solo in blues venues around town. During my years in Chicago, I played in the alt-blues band Revelator, featuring the legendary Bethany Thomas; a few tracks and photos may still be available on our old MySpace page. In DC, I was the lead guitarist for local honky-tonk heroes the Highballers, and in Morgantown I played in the blues trio Arthurs Mashburn Valentine. For more on my "life" in music, check out this interview with my friend Duncan Lorimer.
